@funtimes123 3.61 is your weighted right? Because that’s my weighted and I have a perfect SAT and and i’m stressing if imma get in. But if you got in that’s a BIG relief. (Please respond)…

classof18student Bro that’s REALLY unlucky. You will 100% get in regular.

@MetronoxIZ 3.61 is my UGA GPA not my actual high school GPA.

@classof18student - I am shocked you did not get in. I suspect you will RD.

Accepted- Classic Scholarship. $37,000
OOS
ACT:
English 33
Math 31
Unweighted 3.89
Class rank 35/650
Very rigorous high school

Go Dawgs!!

Would it be possible to hear about scholarships later on? I’m concerned that as of now they’re giving me 0 financial aid

@1111bbbb Yeah it’s because I got a 2.9 UGA gpa freshman year and my gpa’s holding me back since they care much more about gpa than standardized test. Hopefully I get in RD

Accepted
UGA GPA: 3.85
SAT: 1430
ACT: 32
17 APs by the time I graduate

@MetronoxIZ I hope so. I’m starting to think it’s because I’m out of state. I know that UGA claims they don’t care where you live but then they take 87% in state

@classof18student - if you are showing positive trajectory since your freshman year, I bet you get in. How are your grades coming along this semester? If you can have a very good fall semester of your senior year, I bet you get in. Keep working !!

I got in on EA.

GPA: 4.0
SAT: 1250
Currently dually enrolled with a couple AP classes. I will have about 20 courses completed by graduation.
Class Rank: 2/270

Major: BS Chemistry
In state student

I’m so excited yall!!

@1111bbbb pretty good, my UGA GPA should go up to a 3.7 something after this semester so hopefully that’s enough for the ACT to bring it up.

I was deferred. My high school offers over 40 AP classes and there is no way someone could even come close to that.

@maryland604 Not sure how you came up with over 40 classes but college board website only list 38 AP courses and also I don’t think someone will go for all AP courses. What matter most is how many APs you have taken rather than what is offered.

1

@classof18student Yeah you’ll get in RD. You probably had a little lower course rigor, and that is most likely why you got defferred, but you’ll get in RD i’m sure. (How many AP’s, IB’s, DE’s did you take?)

@classof18student it also HEAVILY depends on the classes you have taken. Maybe your course rigor was a bit low. Many people that apply UGA EA have like 8 AP’s but I still think them deferring you with a 35 is just a wtf? When they were discussing it they probably had a really hard time deffering someone with a 35. Anyways, yeah you have like a 90% at least getting in RD.
