[/ul]General Comments: I probably won’t go, but congratulations to everyone else who got in!</p>
<p>Caruso, very few people get into Engineering from DGS. (I think 15 people every year.) The required minimum is a 3.0, but because it’s so competitive, you would need at least a 3.8 to even qualify. Even with that, chances are still slim. Those math courses are hard too so that 3.8 won’t come without difficulty. If you can’t see yourself doing anything but Engineering, you should go to another school for Engineering and then see if you can transfer to UIUC from there. That way if you don’t get accepted, you’ll have a plan B and wont be stuck in Limbo.</p>
