Official UIUC Class of 2018 Decisions Thread - Release 12/13

^congratz to your daughter.

Has anyone here claimed their EnterpriseID yet? For some reason, when I try to set it up, it says that my NetID and PW is incorrect even though I can log into the cities password settings fine.

^I doubt you even have a net ID and password yet, which you need before setting up an enterprise ID and password (which you should make the same as your net ID and password). The ID and password you had before admisison is not your net ID/password until you set up your net ID and password after being admitted and to do that you need your admit ID and also your UIN, university identification number, which you are provided in your admission package and should be able to find in your online MyIllini account after being admitted.

@drusba
Thank you for the response. I had set up my net ID and password yesterday and tried using it today to access the enterprise ID. However when I enter the the netID information into the enterprise ID page, it says the username and password are incorrect.

so my dream since 6th grade was u of m engineering and now I’m starting to reconsider because uiuc is just amazing

patatoo same… especially because umich is prolonging these decisions -_-

@benh10 maybe i’ll see you in engineering school then (;

haha maybe

@Antonove, I’ve been having the same problem. Any luck creating it?

^ No, still says that the username and password are incorrect. I think I’ll just leave it for a few days and try again.

Daughter got in… Engineering
3.82 weighted GPA with very rigorous course load and good ECs.
2320 SAT
Chose General Engineering, but may consider Computer Engineering to transfer into later

Does anybody know when any sort of scholarship information will be released? Do you find any of that information out before you submit your FAFSA and receive your financial aid award letter?

[]Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): none
Reflection
[] Strengths: Strong ECs, really genuine essays

[]Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Out of state status
[]Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Accepted to University of Texas at Austin (hook’em), Purdue, Colorado School of Mines, Texas A&M
General Comments: I feel so incredibly lucky considering my extremely low testing scores for my race and engineering in general, and I never would have posted this but I wanted yall reading this for RD or in the future to have some hope for civil engineering. I think my out of state female status and strong ECs helped me.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask this question, Admin feel free to move my post.

from what I know, you’ll automatically be considered for general admission if you aren’t accepted into your selected major
