Deferred for computer science

Is there any chance for me to get in after getting deferred CE and EE.

a

sorry meant to reply to someone else

Well, I was denied at general studies but was deferred at Boston college? Wow? Apparently a 30 and 92 gpa doesn’t get an in-state resident into GS

@aimlesswriter Which major did you get into?

Accepted, OOS, 4.1, ACT 33 SAT 1490

Accepted business unassigned
Sat 1450

Accepted
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for Biology
ACT 27
GPA UW 3.29
I felt like my essays were not very strong so I have no idea how I got accepted…

Deferred bioengineering
State: CA
1460 SAT (730M+730R)
CGPA: 9.4 (9,10 in India); UW (11): 3.88
EC’s: I thought they were strong

I thought I would get in, so this is kind of disappointing.
Are we supposed to send them an update? I know they don’t want recs or semester grades (disappointing, because I have a rigorous schedule and a 4.0UW this semester), but what about awards, etc.?

Is deferral a prolonged rejection, or do I still have a decent chance of getting in?

@chins0909 35, 5.0 weighted gpa, instate, female

Accepted!! Civil Engineering, OOS

UWGPA: 3.8

@Goatboy76 What does your status say?

International. Deferred. SAT 1450 (650 R+W, 800M)
As far as I can see it, Illinois want to see the COE applicant pool with new/old SAT scores as a whole.
Most ACT scores on this thread have been accepted.
Ya’ll need to calm down about this prolonged rejection thing, if you deserve it, you’ll get in. Just a bad year with the SAT format change.
