@youfoundnemo No that is very risky at UIUC to go in as undeclared hoping to get into Engineering or Business. Very hard to get into competitive programs later.

@Lazertazer0 It’s not that bad so far. If you have prior java knowledge coming in, you will probably ace the first semester cs required class.

@RichardCA My main two ECs were developing an app to help people speak Choctaw and Co-Founding a volunteer organization to assist senior citizens with their tech problems.

When an applicant is deffered is he deffered from firat major or both the majors?
I was accepted CS in COE. I am a female in California so I feel like my gender probably helped. 34 ACT and 3.87 GPA (but my school deflates). Can we create a UIUC CS 2021 group on Facebook? I really want to meet all of you guys!
