I know it is a bit too soon, still over a week to go!!

But with most of the majors disappearing - It's a sign that they've started loading our decisions into the system !! :D

Till then we can discuss all things related to UIUC here!! :)
(Though do not put up a chances post here!! ~ No use really)

And remember 15th February, 2013's the day!! :)
Judging from previous years, 4pm or 5pm local time seems to be when they are released!!

Do post your stats, irrespective of whether you're accepted/rejected/waitlisted !!
Cause this is the one thing on CC that helps future applicants the most!! :D

All the best to all of you!!

I’m excited as well! But equally nervous. It’s amazing how I viewed all these decisions threads from the previous classes 2016, 2015, etc. but now it’s our turn. Good luck to everyone who applied.

hey rishav17
I was deferred from UIUC Engineering and now waiting anxiously for RD results to come out. Since i’m from Illinois, this decision is huge for me financially. I really need UIUC engineering.

The fact that you got deferred means that you’re good enough for UIUC! I’ve heard that a lot of people get deferred from priority just because UIUC doesn’t want to end up filling too many spots even though the candidates might be well qualified, but come RD most of the deferred candidates are accepted!! :)

And which field of engineering are you interested in??

I will say that in state UIUC engineering really is more expensive than many schools… Doesn’t really help you financially. I do believe it can be worth the bill if you do well. But… You must do well. Anyways, good luck to all of you!

UIUC is definitely my dream school. I lived in Illinois from birth to age 11, then I moved to New Jersey. I really want to return home. I applied Computer Engineering, so I really hope I get in! I’m very confident.

@aklausss - I see. I was talking about Engineering. I think I might get offered my alternate choice(hopefully) which is one of the least popular engineering courses! But I really want to pursue my first choice - which is the most popular engineering course!! Haha!! :)

I applied to UIUC for computer science. I think I have a good chance of getting in but I’m worried about financial aid. UIUC is expensive as heck!

Has anyone’s grey “Your Application is Complete” box disappeared? Based on data from passed UIUC forums, it seems like if your grey/status box has disappeared, you have been accepted. I am a bit worried because mine has not disappeared and Illinois is my top choice. Thanks and Goodluck to everybody!!

Yes the major column is gone. This is due to the decisions being processed. Everyone’s major column is gone, so there isn’t anything to be worried about.
