Congratulations!

I wasn’t really expecting an acceptance letter in an e-mail… but I was pretty happy to get in to a good school this early in the year

Woot, I’ve gotten in 3/4 of the colleges I’ve applied to. U of M has always been my top choice so I’m pretty much set! :D

Nice yosup…wat were the other colleges??

I’ll pretty much for sure be going to UM. I want Markley.

2/2 so far…UD-Mercy and U Mich

Im also applying to u of chicago, and UI-UC

Where do most Freshmen usually live at U of M?

I have heard that the Quads are extremely popular and the best places to live, especially if you are in LSA. The hills are also nice as well. However, I advise you ppl to not apply for North Campus, because it is like 10 miles away from the school. LOL

North Campus is not 10 miles away from the school, it’s part of the school.

okay…like 3 miles. But still…its one of the few places where students have to take a bus to get to central campus…which is a pain.

Of course its apart of the school…lmao.

What quad do you guys think is the best to live in? I want to be around other freshman that want to have a good time, but know their limits and when to get serious…

Well the new north quad should be pretty nice

I heard that most Freshmen end up in the North Campus dorms (Baites I think…) Is this true?

Most College of Engineering students live in North Campus. The dorms are really nice up there though…

My friend whose a freshman is sharing a triple suite…complete with his own bathroom and they even have a kitchen!

Yeah, I’ve always wanted to live in a suite. I saw pics on the housing site and they look really nice! Is it possible for me and a couple of friends to be in a triple suite together? Can the three of us sign up together when we apply for housing? Do they have to be Engineering students?

^
I’m not a student at University of Michigan but have read threads on this before. North Campus usually is engineering students, others placed on North Campus generally do not want to be there. North Campus is usually a freshmen last choice ( most freshmen are generally placed in quad or somewhere main). I think if you and a couple of friends want to dorm North Campus as triple the university probably will do so.

Wait so is North Quad on North Campus?
