What are you talking about MI2014
Berkeley and UCLA do not accept cali people with 27 ACT and 3.6 GPA; they would have trouble getting in to UCSD and UC Davis

The mid 50% admission ACT is 25-31 for UC Berkeley.

so do EA applicants not get rejected? just deferred?
is that merely a euphemism for rejection or do you have a legit chance of getting in later?

it seems that michigan is a lot harder to get into in-state than the UCs since they prefer in-state students so much

If there are people who would get rejected EA, then they probably aren’t the kind of people you’d see posting here, so they’re kind of irrelevant.
Getting deferred is not an euphanism. If it was, RD wouldn’t be needed. Instead, those people are just too close to make a certain decision, so they can be compared to the full applicant pool. With a EA pool you’re likely getting a lot of the higher-admit people in that process, so there just isn’t a good way to determine the lower to middle end so early.

oh dam… im insanely nervous right now… just 12 more hours…

Are the decisions released at 12 eastern ? or what time zone

no, i think at 6 in the mornin. eastern

no it’s 12 am Eastern time…i have friends who found out at 12 am two weeks ago

no ****ING way. 12am tonight?

Looks like I’m staying up late on COD MW2

wait, as in 20 minutes from now (I live in New York, i kinda assumed I’d be staying up til 1)

yeah *** haha

how will you find out at 12 am? e-mail or wolverine access?

wolverine access i imagine

i didn’t get anything there… well that’s also probably because I applied on October 27th.

did anyone get ANYTHING?

nothing either maybe they’re not doing 12 am this week but i def know my friend got in at 12 am two weeks ago

is there a slight possibility they’re only releasing decisions every 3 weeks?

^at least for this round?

i got nothing. and if its every 3 weeks im gonna poop my pants in anger
