I’m SO EXCITED. Woke up this morning and found the “open in a pop-up window” and crossed my fingers like crazy. Congratulations to everyone who got in - especially those who were deferred from EA. Must be such a triumph :)</p>
<p>They said it was close to impossible. But my son did it! he was accepted. Being from NJ, getting into Chapel Hill, WOW!. This was his “reach” school and we all worked hard and for his #1 choice school. I truly believe that things happen for a reason!</p>
<p>@njprouddad, congratulations to your son. I was told the same thing - UNC is near Ivy-hard-to-get-in for out of state students. So exciting when you can beat the odds :)</p>
