*Official UNC Fall 2010 Transfer Thread*

Also, the ability to access https://s4.its.unc.edu/sis/browser/appl_pass.html</a> was rumored to provide links to those already admitted. Again, rumors…but i’m curious to see if anyone sees something different than the rest of us.

it said this once i logged in

" The presence or absence of links to specific services on your portal within Applicant Central does not indicate that you have been or will be admitted. "

I couldn’t see my name in the directory so I hope that isn’t true.

The website that I logged in to showed a link to order my laptop… I hope that’s true! Although it did also say: " The presence or absence of links to specific services on your portal within Applicant Central does not indicate that you have been or will be admitted. "

So, I doubt it.

:P

I didn’t see my name, nor did i see anyone else’s who also applied with me. I don’t it’s true. I wouldn’t fret about it.

Like i said, it was past years, so it’s very likely it changed…but I just looked at the old Transfer thread for UNC and it seems they saw their names +links other than ordering a laptop too. Just a rumor while we stew :)

Does anyone else have an enrollment date and time on Connect Carolina?

Not sure where you see that

Like when you go in to myUNC to check your application status and it brings you to the new student center-Connect Carolina (like where it told you when your application was complete) and there’s boxes on the right hand side and it says holds, to do list, and enrollment.

When I log in to admission, the only thing on my right is financial aid box and to do list…on https://my.unc.edu/dt...I</a> don’t have anything saying “holds” or “enrollment”

I may be wrong, but I think ND2012 found this link… http://connectcarolina.unc.edu/images/stories/registration/student%20center%20appt%20time.pdf</a></p>

Where is that link found though?

Go to [Connect Carolina - Home](http://connectcarolina.unc.edu) and you’ll see “Click here to see the “details” link in the Student Center” at the end of the first paragraph…

This site explains the progress that UNC is making in implementing their new student information systems… Connect Carolina is for all records and information for Fall 2010 and SIS is for everything prior.

If I understand what I’ve read correctly, if we are accepted, then we will see a page like that…

Uh, crap. LOL.

Well, my page doesn’t look at all like that, period. That is clearly the page of a current student…;;.

Haha yeah, mine has just “Personal Information”, “Admissions”, and “To Do List”. Is it supposed to have more than that? Lol.

i could log in but when i clicked the cci laptop link it said… “Sorry, but we are not able to determine your eligibility at this time. Your PID could not be found in our database.”

is that what y’all are getting?

Yes, got the same message as above poster.

Yes and if I remember correctly there was a drop down for school year and it only had 2009-2010 listed, so that would be the reason your PID wouldn’t be found in the database… Wrong school year…

I doubt anyone’s going to find a way into it, unless you’re cracking it. It wouldn’t be too hard to fix the issue with you having privileges of a full/accepted student in the database, or at least it wouldn’t too hard to fix the issue of it showing. I can think of a number way of ways right off the top of my head.

So, I think it’d be best to stop worrying about that stuff since the source material is outdated and they’ve since patched it up, and just wait the 5 or so more days. (:

I hope all of this link stuff is just a technological glitch in random people’s myUNC’s. I don’t see any links about enrollment, laptops, etc.

Well you guys have been busy… Just got back from my mini-weekend cruise vacation to Fort Lauderdale/Bahamas. Amazing weekend, and I managed to not think about the wait so much as well haha.
