REMEMBER TO REMOVE ALL THE SPACES IN THE BRACKETS ([.....]) IN ORDER FOR THE DESIRED FORMAT TO APPEAR

a little early for this thread to show up…

^way to insult a senior member, junior. this coming from a new member

LOL, decisions don’t come out until April.

I thought it was late march?

Decisions will come out on March 25, at around 5ish. That’s 16 days from now. Regents scholars already know their decisions, though.

decisions have already been released for people invited for regents interviews. i would post my stats but i don’t want to be the first one hahah

I must agree, this is a tad bit too early.

Also your post neglects spring admits. Waitlists are limited to about 200 people and they are listed, but spring admits make up about 2000 admits each year.

guess i’ll start :stuck_out_tongue: sorry, i used format from another post i did. mostly same stuff

My friend’s son got accepted through regents too. I don’t know his stats exactly, but he’s the school’s Einstein. haha

My S is a Regents candidate. They were advised at their interviews that they are admitted (the top 3% of applicants, which number 50,312 (excluding transfers.)

(I can’t figure out this darned format thing.)

Weaknesses: EC leadership
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: See strengths. Coursework and ECs tied to possible major in physics, other sciences.
Comments: Waiting on decisions from 8 other schools

FYI, White and Caucasian are not ethnic groups. White is a social race, and caucasian is falsely defined biological race.

Irish American or Taiwanese American would be examples of ethnicities, but white definitely is not one

Regents is decided by gpa/test score numbers alone. EC’s/essays don’t mean anything to them.

are you sure gpa/test scores? I have perfect test scores and gpa and didn’t get an invite.

Per the informational flyers available at the actual Regents interview, this is not accurate.

cassenoix-I don’t think your SATs were an actual weakness. Since you got a 31 ACT, and UCs toss the lower score of either the SAT or ACT, Cal never even saw your 1890 SAT.
