Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Honestly, no clue. Not one of the five ppl at my school who applied got in. I didn’t exactly have the admission thing cut out for me considering I’m Asian, but still took the deferral to heart :(

General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations, etc: Congrats to all who got in. This deferral really bummed me out for a month. Only when I got accepted to another BS/MD program did I rebound (and that took a month). Forced me to rethink my college decisions, but hopefully for the better.

General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations, etc: UChicago wasn’t my top choice, but given I got waitlisted here, I’m wondering what it might mean for the other top-tier schools I applied to (Georgetown, Duke, Pomona, Yale).
