<p>If anyone thinks this thread is wound up, check out UNC-Chapel Hill awaiting EA decisions last week. This is child’s play compared to the anticipatory angst there.</p>

<p>Just a heads up that the website now states the following regarding decisions: “November 1: You’ll receive a decision by January 31 if you complete the application by this date.”</p>
<p>Not sure if the decisions have been rolled out yet, but a classmate of mine supposedly heard back (rejection because SAT scores were sent to a different UMD, not CP, which must suck)…</p>
<p>btw guys my app was completed as of today (1/29) somewhere between 530-630 am</p>
<p>Where on your UMD account will it say the admission decision? Is it under “application status” - mine currently says under review.</p>
<p>sophomore at umd, currently in class, writing for all of you guys waiting for decisions to come out, my sister also applied so i wanted to let you guys know. most likely, decisions will come out tomorrow 1/30 around 3pm, at least thats how it was for me, 2 years ago. good luck to all, most of u guys will get in, umd isnt a hard school to get into. but some of you will probably be disappointed in receiving scholars rather than honors college. scholarships are hard to get as well. good luck to all.

On the web site it says that her Application Status is complete. Is there any chance that she could get her decision with the EA applicants?</p>

<p>it will be on the application status, but for us, so many people were trying to sign on at once that the server crashed, and then people found it in their emails as backup. however, my friend thought he didnt get in because the site was crashed so he couldnt log in, and then he didnt get an email. however, we found his email in his spam box 6 hours later… so he was quite happy!!</p>
