<p>If you’ve fulfilled all the requirements for the LEP you’re applying to, then I believe that, typically, they send a letter of acceptance and then shortly after another confirming your acceptance into the LEP. I know that for instance, in my case, I’m applying as a Finance major (which is an LEP major), however, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to fulfill all of my requirements for the business program prior to the deadline, therefore, my acceptance into the Finance is dependent on the successful completion of a calculus course I’m taking this semester…hope this helps.</p>

<p>It is super hard to wait that long. I am not a patient person at all. I’ve applied since January 8th. whewwww …Come on. I want to know so bad so I can decide what to do!!!</p>

If I don’t I am going to cry. That’s for sure…

<p>Lol well I am waiting for johns hopkins university too. So I have like another month for that. If I don’t get in I guess I will have to pray for hopkins lol. But if I do get in i am going to be ecstatic lol.</p>

<p>LOL , That’s good you guys! I already got accepted at Towson and UMBC, but college park is my first choice. If I don’t get in at College park, I don’t know what i’ll do as far as choosing one of those two schools. 
I am a secondary education major from Montgomery College.</p>
<p>If I don’t get in I will go to UMBC. I was going to apply to Hopkins but the whole no in state tuition discount thing made me decide not to. I am almost 34 I don’t need to build up that much debt at this point in my life lol…</p>
<p>I should get into Maryland as I did MTAP, it’s more the Chemistry LEP which I am on pins and needles about.</p>
<p>Did anybody else (who lives in Maryland) get stuff from Hood College? They offered me 14k in scholarships and I did not even apply there.</p>
<p>Lol true about the debt thing. And I go to towson. For education I would recommended you go to towson. I an not in the education program here but I have heard that it is really good.</p>

<p>Oh boy. Its rough isn’t it? I heard both good and bad things about Towson… they have a good reputation but the education program is apparently overcrowded …</p>

<p>Is umd going to update the portal Friday… as they mail out decisions??</p>
<p>I hope so. Part of me wishes I could be patient and wait for the letter to come…but when it comes down to it I just want to know ASAP and if the portal tells me on Friday I will be happy with that.</p>
<p>The decisions for last years transfer applicants came out on the 6th which was also a friday and that was in the portal too I believe</p>
