just thought i’d break the ice here…who is waiting? how are your stats? i gotta talk to somebody in the same boat as me…the more the clock ticks away, the more nervous that i get.

still though…i just feel like people should be talking…i’ve looked at the 2014 thread and it was more interactive with the applicants…everyone was discussing and collaborating…are you an applicant?

Why make a decision thread a month before decisions come out, to the point where you were willing to let it drop to like the 5th page. Are you really that desperate to be the thread creator Viggy?

the other day, i heard a rumor that umich got 50,000 early applications! i live about 5 minutes from central campus so i’d believe it since the source may know someone in the application office. does this change the standards that they will admit with?

it was a rumor…and why wouldn’t you believe it? the common app made things much easier for college applicants…50,000 might be a stretch but i’m certain that they received much more than usual

Actually, I know someone in admissions who said they received more than double the normal amount of applications. I don’t remember the number but I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss it

There’s only one decision thread on the entire UMich forum. So, I made one right when I saw that because a school like Michigan should have such threads because it is up to par with other privates. I didn’t do it to be the creator lol, that’s just pathetic.

Decisions won’t be out until December for sure so there’s no point in discussing this far away from that time.

EDIT: If you want to discuss that badly, why not make an 'Official ‘15 Chat Thread’ or something of that sort and leave this one for solely decisions so that future CC’ers and jump write to decisions instead of sorting through our conversations?
