i know the average SAT score in my school is well over a 1950, so idk! i just wanna know now, so if it is a rejection/deferral i’ll have to time to grieve before my vacation

havent even started studying for chem. I dont know if its because I’m anxious for my decision (either way) or I have senioritis…

Michgirl, EXACTLY. I am supposed to go out of town with my friend for her birthday on friday. If I find out Friday, and the outlook is grim, then I know I will be a downer.

Oh no, schoolwork has completely gone out the window this whole week as I’ve been getting a majority of my decisions back throughout it, but the one I care about the most, UMICH, has yet to come and it’s soo not helping my level of sanity.

Bc, I know! I have 3 problem sets for AP Chem to do, and a 90 pt test Friday, and I can’t even focus on that. And on top of that, I have an essay for english, a test in AP calc, and physics hw :/

@ryancj11, i knowww, i don’t want to be a downer during the break. michigan is my top choice, i’ve gotten into a safety already but its nothing compared to michigan! i’ve shown as must interest as i possibly can, my GPA sucks, but i think my standardized test scores are good and i have some decent EC’s. i can’t stand this wait :(

*not saying michigan is also a safety, just saying i got into A safety

l

hey you. this is funny.

Interesting. I also got a 31 ACT score. I am still really nervous though. As December goes on I am still one of the few people in my school who hasn’t gotten into anywhere yet. Good luck to all of u guys. I am really hoping for the 17! This week has slightly interfered with school (midterms this week) from all the anxiety of not hearing from umich yet.

mystery solved. When my son requested to have me have access to his student account information, i now have both students on the drop down tab. don’t think it is too meaningful. The parent tab does list account balance as all 0.00 for him, with the normal information about my daughter’s account! Phew!

Hopefully the speculated 17th is the correct date! I’m expecting a rejection/deferral because I’m OOS and my poor GPA, 96 weighted. But hopefully my 33 ACT and and 2240 SAT (1490 composite) plus decent ECs is enough to off-set that horrid GPA.

GPA is only relative to your school. Try rank or percentile for a better matching mechanism.

I had heard in years past they like to release things on Thursdays. That would be fun. ;D

Superexcited, if you are getting rejected OOS, then I sure as hell don’t have a chance!

@superexcited, i also have a 2240 SAT, 1490 composite! haha, im also OOS, and I have a horrrrrrible GPA I really hope I still have a chance.

Relative to my school, that 96 is very low. I might be on the border for top 15%. (Yay for messing up freshman year.) But I’m not that hopeful because that turned our poorly when I ED’d Cornell and got deferred.

I wish UMich could tell us a date already!

a (if anyone really cares) Well imagine if we all got the high scores and high gpa’s. This will be my first college decision, which might explain my overwhelming anxiety. Has anyone else visited this site 69 times already?

Yeah, messing up freshmen year really sucks, I think i had a 2.8 freshman year… disgustingly low. This sucks, I hope we find out tomorrow.

It could happen! But I doubt they will release discussions tomorrow.

Lets just hope they surprise us by releasing decisions tomorrow or Friday.

I’m really hoping for Friday. My blackberry is on vibrate 24/7 so whenever it vibrates in school, I’m praying that its from UMich, but I’ve been continually disappointed.
