So does anyone know for sure when decisions are being released? 17th or 23rd?

Last year they were released on the 22nd.

raevsky, this is the first year they have done EA, so that is incorrect.

they were released the 22nd of October, here’s the link

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/797327-official-class-2014-university-michigan-decisions-thread.html

So, it’s kind of useless for our current situation

Any idea I have a shot? Gpa is 90 uw, sat 1330 out of 1600 1990 total, act 31 good ec and recommendations

You have a fari shot. Not a guarentee…

My gawd this wait is killer

^Only a fair shot? Isn’t the average ACT at U of M 27 to 30? I would think they would be almost for sure with a 31?

Wow, I just read back through this thread and see there are many of you with ACT’s in the 30s who are not feeling confident of getting in. Your making me very nervous. I was under the impression that the average was 27-30 and my daughter and her bf were almost sure things with a 30. I hope I haven’t been producing false hope for them! What makes you guys think you won’t get in with ACT’s above the average? And, forgive my ignorance, what is OOS you are all referring to? Thanks and good luck! BTW, I have a gut feeling you will hear tomorrow at the end of the day!

OOS = Out of State

Ahhhhhh! THanks!

That is because engineering has a higher ACT average.

Finally got the email :)

I’m assuming you’re referring to the Early Action email, not the acceptance one.

???

^^GPA might be a bit weak…

Ya the early admission one. Time stamped for 3 days ago :?

Those of you with gpa’s in the 90s, what is the scale in your area? We are on a 4.0 scale. I am really getting nervous for my kids, you guys have some great stats!

I don’t know about other countries but my GPA is 70 and 70 out of 100 means 4 out of 5 in my country. By the way, 4/5 is considered a really good grade in our system.
