***Official University of Michigan Class of 2015 Decisions Thread***

ciarax is right there is no way they are dumb enough to release all the decisions on the same day. Tens of thousands of people trying to check there decision at once would destroy there system.

*their system

But I so agree bronco. I’m a little confused on why they are not currently releasing decisions. I mean they HAVE to have some decisions complete. Why not release like 6,000apps a week for the next three weeks?

they want to see the fallout

does anyone know if the university of michigan has released any LSA decisions as of now?

no, no decisions have been released.

Lol, every time I see this thread bumped up, it gives me false hope that some decisions have been released.

I called the admissions office about a month ago regarding decisions and this is what they told me:

First “wave” of decisions would be mailed on December 1st

There would be 3 “waves” of decisions sent out on a weekly basis, with the last “wave” being on the 23rd

As we can all see, the first part was a lie, but there is still hope with the second part

I’m not sure what the basis of a lawsuit would be if the UM computer system crashed on the 23rd preventing decisions from being released. Believe what you want…clearly we’ll find out in the next couple of weeks when the decisions are released.

i heard somewhere that decisions are usually released on fridays… that could me tomorrow! but most likely not.

2 years ago, i think that they were released on Wednesday night/thursday mornings…fingers crossed for possible friday!

last year, the first decisions were released on the last Friday of October

ughh why do they have to do this? i live in ann arbor and every other school in the state has released decisions (MSU, WMU, CMU, EMU, GVSU, NMU). it seems as if michigan is the only one that people are still waiting on. stupid **** i just wanna go to college!

@triplebogey: i live in ann arbor too and i know exactly what you mean…i’ve been accepted to GVSU and MSU already, but Michigan, the one school in state that i actually care about, hasn’t done s*** so far

called admissions today. the guy said all decisions are being released on the 23rd.

i know right.

if u live in ann arbor i wouldn’t be too worried

omg if i was accepted tommorow, i will not be taking my SAT 2’s on saturday

@MLDWoody do you think that just cuz i live in ann arbor that helps my chances? i feel like they would want less people from AA and more people from around the country but i don’t know. i’m new to the college application scene LOL

maybe you guys wanna check this out…

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/797327-official-class-2014-university-michigan-decisions-thread.html

that was the thread for last year… and the first decisions posted were on october 22nd!!! why is it any different this year…cmon umich

Because Michigan switched to the Common Application and consequently has many more applications than in previous years.

i dont know if this is true or not, but apparently UM has to take a certain number of people from PHS and HHS each year
