Around what time (does anyone have a clue) will Michigan release OOS decisions? Something a bit more specific than “sometime tomorrow.”

@mickjagger

decisions will probably be released throughout the period of time that umich office of undergraduate admissions is open. i forgot what it says on their site but i think its 10am-5pm… then just adjust it to your time zone.

ahhhh good luck to everyone today! hopefully its good news for us OOS! (and IS, as well, of course!)

Does anyone have a clue as to how fast the spots fill up for UMich? Like when is the latest I should put in my deposit?

Looks ike its 3 hours until the next round of emails…

^ How do you know?

Their office opens at 10am Ann Arbor time, and from what I’ve read they only release emails during office hours…

Hopefully what we’re speculating is true… I can’t wait any longer.

Good luck today everyone!

Luckily, by the time 10 rolls around my dreadful AP Chem test will be over, and I can be upset if I get deferred or rejected without it affecting the test, lol.

Do you think they will start announcing the decisions of internationals today?

So we could be getting decisions, potentially, in fifteen minutes.

WOW!!I am too nervous!!!

Anyone find out yet?

Hey, just had a bizarre quick question. Is a US citizen who has done his high-schooling outside the "US considered as International or OOS?

If this student is not a Michigan resident then, he is considered OOS, otherwise in-state.

So, it doesn’t matter whther you an international or OOS, both are under the same category? That’s weird.

Yeah, it’s like that at the UC’s as well. You’re either California or out-of-California.

All I am saying is that:

A Michigan resident is an in-state student no matter where he studied.

A US citizen, who is a resident of another state is considered out-of-state no matter where he studied.

…but I don’t know if a student being an international is any different from him, being out-of-state.

Oh, that sucks. Cause the International acceptance rate at UMich seems to be 4% or something, but 66% of the the Michigan residents were given it last year. So I was wondering who is classified in the other 40%.

@OMGMIT: Thanks man. Now it makes sense.
