@klaus1216 I’m OOS and I applied to LSA
@Theoneincs are you out of state too or in state?
OOS ,
I applied from CA
it seems like instate students are being notified earlier than OOS
@CadeKong that’s crazy! Congrats!
I consider myself in-state (born & raised in Michigan), but U Mich considers my residency OOS, because I’m enrolled to an OOS school. My application was marked complete on 2/3 and I’m also still waiting for a decision. I remember reading on the UM Tumblr that they don’t release decisions by state, but that may just be for freshman applicants.
Accepted this morning!! Still can’t believe it. View decision popped up on my wolverine access this morning. Again my stats…

college gpa at Baylor : 3.77 (last two semesters 4.0)
49 credits earned (16 in progress)
High school gpa : 3.4-3.5 from a public school in Texas
Pretty impressive internships and decent essays but nothing special.
Sent application the 29th of Jan. and all materials marked as received on Feb
I applied January 15, and was rejected to the COE this morning.
30 completed credits and 15 in progress at the University of Michigan Dearborn.
3.87 GPA College. 3.7 HS
The reason for my rejection, as stated in the email I received, was that I wouldn’t have all my pre-reqs completed by Fall. However, I had stated in my application that they would be complete in time. ( I only have about three classes left to take care of, all of which would be completed in the Spring/Summer term).
I’ve sent them an email to see what’s going on. Any advice? Is it a good/bad sign? Also, the email was signed Erica Sanders if that means anything. This has all been really disappointing, I had been looking forward to this. Ill try again in the Winter if nothing works out.
I was accepted yesterday as well! LSA chemistry. A brief review of my credentials: new jersey community college 3.75 gpa, 54 credits, 70 at the end of semester. The rest is on the previous pages. Good luck to all still waiting!
@boilerup4purdue and @fn1518 Congrats!!! When did you guys submit your app?
Everything was submitted by Jan 29. @ShuttlepilotND
I’m rooting for those that still have yet to hear back. Good luck all!
Everything was received on January 26th. @ShuttlepilotND
Thank you
Just got accepted to LSA! 3.56 GPA from Central Michigan. I’m so excited
@thebulgarslayer Congrats! Was your decision posted on wolverine access today, because I was under the impression that decisions aren’t posted on weekends just weekdays?
Hi everyone! Just wanted to start out by saying good luck to everyone. Seriously hoping we can all call ourselves wolverines soon.
I’m a freshmen at the University of Detroit Mercy, prelaw student with a 4.0 GPA. My essays were perfect (literally worked on them foreverrrrr) and I also had great letter of recs. Im freaking out because since I just started college in the fall I only have 12 credits to show for last semester, and 15 for this semester… I hope this doesn’t get me rejected. I’ve been dreaming of this college ever since I was little and I have a brother there right now. Was a big disappointment to my family when I got deferred, and then rejected, my senior year. I graduated hs with a 3.8 GPA and a 28 on the ACT. Many honors classes including all honor math, science, and english classes. I also took 2 AP classes. I played softball and was captain of the team. I was a school government leader and secretary general of Model United Nations. I think what held me back before was my essays, so this time around I worked extra hard on them!
Good luck to everyone! I haven’t heard anything back yet. I applied Jan 29th for the fall term. Can anyone guess at when I’ll hear back?? This waiting game is killing me…
@klaus1216, it may have been posted earlier but I just didn’t check until yesterday.
@kcannon i’m pretty sure you will get accepted, because you were accepted as a freshman.
Thanks @klaus1216 . We’ll just have to wait and see, I suppose.
When I clicked the “View Application data” then WA said ‘Page Not Found’…
Am I the only one who has this problem?
