by the way, anyone planning on taking Urban Studies?

Whoever said “undecided” is a bad choice is incorrect. Half of accepted students applied “undecided” and all undergraduate matriculate undecided, even if they are in advising for a specific major. That said, if you’re a girl, applying to CBE in SEAS or even Physics in the CAS will actually help you get in.

^I have a question… I know Wharton is extremely hard to get into in terms of stats, but do those stats have to require say… FBLA, started your own business, etc.?

I feel like I have the stats, but I have not done anything business-related. I really like Penn, so I’m not sure whether or not if I have a chance at Wharton, or if I should just apply to CAS.

you don’t need any proven business ability, just an interest in it. but you do need proven math and leadership ability. no way around those two without a big hook.

^Ok, I definitely have those, but again, no business-type activities. Would you say go for Wharton anyways, then?

[] Essays: CA was pretty good, talked about being a new student at a prestigious prep school, struggles of freshmen year, sob story, etc. I’d give myself a pat on the back and an 8 or 9 out of 10.
[] Teacher Recs: My counselor took the two best from a field of five teachers, I’m going to assume that they were somewhere between the 8-10 range? Or did ALL of my teachers really hate me that much…
[] Counselor Rec: 10/10 my counselor is well-known for his letters amongst colleges, especially Penn.
[] Hook (if any): What is a hook?

Others, but I’d say I’m proudest of this.
[/li]

[/ul]Other Factors: I’m friendly? I don’t know… I guess my interview went well, it was around two hours.

General Comments/Congratulations/etc: Honestly, if you’ve gotten in, that is AWESOME and I’m really stoked for you people, I’ll be living through everyone vicariously.
