[/ul]**General Comments: It’s still sinking in…so many people have called me/texted me/posted on my fb congrats, but I’m just relieved that this is all over. Congrats to everyone that got accepted. To those that were deferred or rejected, I know my words mean very little, but each and everyone of you is amazing. You’ll end up somewhere that you’ll be happy at, I promise.

In regards to the application process, start early. I had the issue of not starting/finishing my supplement until quite late, although I knew exactly what I wanted to say. Sometimes knowing what you want to say and actually saying it are two completely different things. if you’re a Class of 2012er and this is sometime in August 2011, start your CommonApp NOW. It’ll make a world of a difference later on.

Throughout this process, try to stay true to yourself. Don’t say something just because you think the admissions office wants to hear it!

PM me if you got accepted. I’d love to be friends with you on FB!**

[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: Leadership, Compassion & Service towards others, Passion for Penn
[] Weaknesses: Being ORM? Idk…
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I let my application speak to who I am. My essays had voice and were very honest. My GPA along with rigor of courseload.
[] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: N/A!

[/ul]General Comments:

To those who are dealing with rejection: You will find another institution that will fit you!
To those who are dealing with deferral: You still have a shot!
To my fellow Penn Class of '15: Let’s make history.
To Jian2070: I want to play ping pong with you! Let’s join the club team!

To Future Applicants:

Try to figure out what your passions and unique traits are and develop an application around them instead of the other way around. Be honest. Don’t be afraid to show emotion. I feel that Admissions officers are looking for good human beings.

Oh, and if you are low-middle income and are in love with Penn PLEASE consider applying ED because Penn’s FA is incredible (no loans!). Best decision I have ever made (parents have to pay less than 1,000/year!!!).

Feel free to PM me about anything and everything =)
