Also, got my in person interview today!

@Coooploops1996 your counselor will have to send in your mid term marks in December.

@Coolboy1997 I think you should direct that question to your GC

@BonsaiOfWisdom Few questions: 1. What math are you in senior year. 2. How have you been on student council for 5 years…Have you been in high school for 5 years? 3. Did you make it clear to Penn in a professional way that you weren’t allowed to pick your own classes?

@justinn76 Thanks for the reply 1. I already graduated, am in my gap year. 2. In my particular state we have 5 years of high school, yes. 3. I wrote a sentence about the circumstances in the Additonal Informations section.

I just received an email regarding an interview and I was directed to accept the interview request on the portal… I tried seeing if there was anything for interviews under the applicant portal and couldn’t find anything. Does anybody know where to find this other portal specific to interviews?

I applied ED and ordered SAT and AP score reports on OC 23rd, on my Upenn portal, It shows that SAT scores has been received but there’s nothing about AP scores…Why is that?? Should I email them to ask?? Can anyone help me please?

^^ You only self-report AP scores. If you request them to be sent, they are sent to the registrar’s office and are not forwarded to admissions. Only when you are accepted and attending a college do you officially request that they be sent.

@mmchocolate You don’t send AP scores until AFTER you’ve been accepted. They’re never a factor in your admissions so if you don’t get in you basically just wasted money.

Hi guys so I applied ED to Upenn very early, but my transcripts, teacher recs were all mailed and they were said by the post office to be delivered on 10/22. However, on my UPenn portal, receipt of these materials still hasn’t been updated… Should I call UPenn about the receipt or should I just wait for them? Will UPenn email me of missing documents? I freak out so much because it’s already mid-Nov and I have no idea whether they have done processing documets…

@magicwandyyy they say it takes 3-4 weeks. Penn will contact your school if it can’t find anything. Don’t worry, most people (including me) are in the same situation.

@justinn76 Saying that AP scores are never a factor in the admissions decision is not true. You should self-report them. Adcoms do look at how you did in your AP courses as part of their review of your academics.
