@cstbzksfmgv how did you find out that decisions will be released on the 11th? As far as keeping your mind occupied in the meantime, just remember that you’ve already done all you can. Worrying about it or being anxious won’t change a thing about your app or your decision so there’s no reason to stress over it. Also, I’ve been reading a lot more than normal. It takes your mind off things.

The 11th!!! No wayy…it usually always comes out on the 15th/16th. How did you find out?!

Wow, decisions are just in sight. Good luck everyone!

BTW, how do we get our results? Applicant portal or email?

How do we know this 12/11 number? Are we just saying it because Harvard SCEA (I believe) is 12/11 also?

@smc101 i think the entire ivy league gives decisions on the same day but I might be mistaken.
@NewportHSSenior that’s not always true. I’ve been a straight A student but they still requested my grades (as well as the grades for all applicants to penn from my school) so it might be school based

When I tried to check my decision, why did it show “you have entered invalid credentials”? I’ve tried couple of times. Does anyone have the same problem?

@cosmichand I don’t think it will work until they have uploaded your decision.

@cosmichand same happened to me. I’m guessing the decision portal has not been updated for us

I see. Thank you guys!

^ You will not be able to log into the decision portal until decisions are released. Incidentally, that portal will indicate the exact date and time that decisions will be released as soon as the Admissions Office determines that. And you also will be receiving an email with that information.

@Wharton2020 haha ok thanks! I wasn’t sure if Penn requested first semester grades based on school or not but good to know that you’re keeping up with senior year!

@NewportHSSenior yea i think its school based but who really knows?

A few friends from India who applied to Wharton said so. Maybe they got an email or something?
The decision will be out in the middle of my exams. This is nerve-wracking, man.
Also, does anyone know what percentage of ED applicants Penn usually defers?

@cstbzksfmgv - Is there any way you could confirm it with them? What time would it be? 5pm EST?

Does anyone know what time decisions are usually posted? 5pm EST? 4pm EST?

Since turning in my app, I have been nominated as a “Cat with Class” (its sort of a big deal at my school) and chosen to lead elementary schoolers who won an essay contest in a leadership day. Any thoughts on whether or not I should update my application so late in the process?

I find it quite odd that I was just contacted about an interview with an alumni today. My interviewer said that we could meet this coming week or the next. Doesn’t that seem a bit late considering decisions come out in December?

@ags1213 It just proves that interviews really don’t count for anything. It’s more of a service, informative thing for you.

My interview went well. I’m pretty sure everyone’s interview does to be honest. I’d be interested in knowing how the interviews really affect the decisions. My interviewer and I had a nice conversation but I’m not sure if he really gained much knowledge of me (as much as I tried to subtly integrate it into our conversation).
