[li] Why you think you were accepted: PERSONALITY! Honestly, look at my grades compared to everyone else’s here AND I’m Asian! The odds were against me.[/li][/ul]General Comments: I only applied to one school, and it’s both my reach school and my dream school. People called me gutsy for not applying to a safety, but Rochester IS the school for me. I was scared of being rejected because of my SAT scores and lack of APs. But really, it’s NOT all about grades. I was accepted ED and I have a really nice financial aid package to go with it!

yep… heard today…45k in grants/scholarship money… with staffords, and work study, down to about 6k for mom and dad… d was finalist for ub pres but didn’t get, but got the 5k scholarship there. was interviewed for GEAR program 5 year masters in biomed engineering. will hear soon. Uof R high on list now. waiting on 8 other schools…decisions but in nice shape now…best of luck

Approximately where do you live that you received your decision letters yesterday?
I got a letter from Rochester yesterday, but it was only rejecting me from their REMS program… Not a regular decision letter.

I am from India and I received an email containing the decision letter. They said they would send me a printed copy of it along with the welcome package through mail. And btw, the status of my application on the portal has not changed !
