Also first gen student with no high school credits to speak of. Working former professional with lots of passion for my intended major and enthusiasm about my future in public health included in PS.
@ammamayet hey did you applied for Public Health or HIHIM under Public Health?? please let me know (= & Congrats!!
@uwedu15 Thank you! I applied for the PH BA option! Did you apply to one of those?
I actually declined Seattle’s offer, hope I do not regret that. I will be earning my Health BA instead at Bothell campus as it is SO much closer for me and I can take courses not offered there on Seattle’s campus. I may complete a minor at Seattle campus also. You just have to apply to that and clear it with an advisor. I just don’t want to miss out on any connections or culture @ Seattle campus! Will aspire to complete a MPH/MSW in Seattle after I finish at Bothell though. I am so excited and good luck to anyone still waiting! They are slowly sending out the emails & letters this month.
Actually I am thinking to do the same! I’m exhausted mentally waiting for Seattle to respond when I have been accepted to Bothell already. I have friends that go there and love the smaller class size. The teachers are from sea and teach at Bothell as well. H
@ammamayet Health BA? do you mean Health Studies BA?? thats the only health major available at UWB. I applied to Public Health (HIHIM). This major is accredited for RHIA exam plus is a bachelor of science dgree. If I don’t get in, I will go to UWB for SEB towards the counseling career. I already signed up for the orientation + paying $100… Waiting for the main campus admission decision takes forever… We are supposed to get an email by this Friday. -___-
