Official US December SAT I Thread

so it was right? that she though class/rank wasn't important?

do you think there's going to be a curve on math? I'm positive there will be a curve on verbal...but math, i'd say something like 800 800 790 (i'm at least hoping, i think i only missed one)..did anyone get 5/64 or something like that?

yeah. i strongly believe that that is correct.

did anyone take the SATs in october?? Did you think it was easier or harder than the october one??

Does anyone remember the answer to number 14 on the qc's where it compared the sum of some variable arithmetic problem to 20

Yes, the answer was class is not important.

And yes, theres always (as far as I know) a curve on both sections. Just the verbal one is usually a lot higher. Most of the time you can get 1 wrong on math and get an 800.

i thought it was harder than oct.

i thought the theme of the bird passage was to show that..regardless of how far you make it into life, that doesn't mean you're going to be happy with everything...which is why i put, they're on top of the tree, but that doesn't mean that they're overly happy..they're secluded. but the social class answer also makes sense...some of those reading questions were just unfair.

on the math grid ins--- the answer was 1/2 or something. but what question was this?

thedude, it was B because it can never exceed 20

the one that you had to compare to 20 i put B because 20 will always be greater.

I got a 1/2 on one math grid in...but that one was one that could have had multiple answers since it said any number.

And yeah, I got 5/64 for the last grid in.

did anyone get like 5/8 for the one where it was like a cone and then it was sliced near the botttom and it wanted like the ratio of the two radiuses of the bases?

Pygo- I got 1/2 as well, I think anything btw 0 and 1 is fine

i think i put ZERO for that. would that have worked?

Way Harder Than October!!!!!!!!!

Damn- I Think I Did Horrible

i think 0 was wrong because they would be equal

zero wont work because they would be equal, anything to 0 power is 1

5/8 was right richard

On the earlier question about the odd number integers I got 150 because there are 6 sets of ten within each one hundred that give odd numbered answers(ex.101,111,131,151,171,191) and there are 5 odd hundereds(100,300,500,700,900).
