Official US December SAT I Thread

It can't be extol:virtue.

To admonish is to reproof. To extol is not to virtue. However, to honor IS to accolade.

no that sounds 100% wrong. b/c wrong part of speech.

OMG I WILL STAY UP ALL NIGHT to find my score on the 16th/17th

Yeah, my sentence is whack and doesn't make any sense.

The fact remains, though, honor:accolade is the correct answer. Refer to the previous page to see "thedude's" sentence.

Thedude,

I was just going to write a stuffy reply, replete with the fact that I haved scored an 800 on the verbal twice, once in 7th grade and also in november. And while typing I started to think, and I think you are correct : (

What did you guys get for the last grid in? I got something really wierd like 5/64 I pretty sure this is wrong though.

What is the average score (after scaling) of Verbal if you get 2-3 wrong?

5/64 is definetely right

The answer is most definetely 5/64

It's ok to put answers in decimal form right?

probably still an 800..but i'm looking at 5+ wrong, I didn't leave any out though..so that might be alright...as for math, i think i only missed two that i can think of...so hopefully the curve still keeps that at a 790 or a 780

Hey ppl. I have a lot of questions for you to answer. Verbal:1.) "a fair adavntage"- I put radical principle. Is that correct? 2.) the one about both passages viewed poetry about artificial intelligence: Passage 1 viewed as embodiment of artistic creativity and Passage 2 viewed as superfluous..something like that. Is it correct? 3.)What was the one about paradox? HEr behavior cannot be evaluated by absolute moral....? 4.) What was unusual about PAssage 2 about the woman? Was it that literal achievements were uneven? 5.) spirit- i put assertive outlook?6.) the point rhat human will be out of work: was it robots will expand scientific field-something like that or in many ways, robots will supplant humans.
Math: 1) 25.) pencils- 1 and 2 only? 2.) QC: The one about memebers and residents? Was it D? 19.) the pt closeset to x-axis: Was it A (-3,2)?
Thank you for your response.

I don't think you can get more than two wrong on the verbal and still get an 800

Yeah, you can do decimal or fraction it doesn't matter.

What was the answer to the one on the experimental math section about the area of the square inside the other square?

I got 20.

Link:Chain :: :_

The answer is stanza:poem right? Damn, I can't believe i put the one about the gate and latch or whatever it is. I always miss the easy ones... grr

What do you guys think - 4 or 5 will be on the verbal section?

anyone else feel the 5/64 was tooo easy of a problem. I mean you could have plugged in numbers and you would get the answer easily.

FOr the circumfrence and square problem, I got area of square is greater. Anyone else?

What do you all mean by experimental questions? What are they?

false life, my friend christa just got a 1590, missed four or five verbal, one math, 800 verbal. (november test)

In addition, what was the one about the phoneix allusion: I put the rebirth of her public life, not regeneration after her diasppoinment.... What you think? And did she nearly achieved mystical ...from among her neighbors in Kenya. Finally, what best support the claim that she is a great mythmaker?: was it that she fully live up to...something like that. Thank you.

avanex20, i also got that the square's area is greater.. and i got 5/64 for the last grid in...

i forgot the problem.. but i didnt plug in.. does any1 remembrer some of the problem?
