Official US December SAT I Thread

i divided 620..by how ever many numbers there were...came out with like...618, counted five as my 618, 9-619, 1-620...maybe my reasoning is off, that's a weird question now that i think of it.

doesnotexist.. it was 9..

limit DNE!!! noppe that will NOT be accepted on the AP exam! NO SHORT CUTS! AHH

does any1 know the one on quant comp that was like... j / (j + 1) and k / (k + 1) .... it was D right?

yes...... that is correct.

i got incesed and vehemence too. it was about the director not being able to criticisms

Yeah I got incensed, vehemence.

What other hard math questions were there?

doesnotexist, your reasoning is a bit off. See the 618 number will be 3. so we have 5,9,1,2,2,3. and so 619=1 and 620=9

Yeah, the vehemence one is correct.

Doesnotexist, I also got 1. Probably wrong tho :(

There was one where it asked you to find the average of a, b, and c where

a + 2b - c = 28 and 4a + 3b +6c = 62

Anybody get it?

Also, there was a math one where a 4x6 rectangle had two lines from opposite endpoints to opposite endpoints and a line extending one of the 4 unit sides and forming a triangle with a line starting at the center of the rectangle.

Anybody know the answer?

jfasdkljgre,....i thought it was b... the whole J+1 ..or whatever, the other number over k-2...if the numbers are gr e ater than two..B would be the correct answer...regardless of if one is greater than the other.

to haykm11

the question was j/(j+1) and (k)/(k-1)

or at least i thought it was

and so i put B

I put conspiratoral and innocous for the illict question

Haykm11: No it was B, since a number over itself minus 1 will always be greater than 1 and a number over itself plus 1 will always be less than 1.

it was the one that had the bottom smaller than the top.

Oh yes, did anyone else get 8 for the problem about the slope on the grid in.

What were the other choices to that problem with conspirational. Does anybody remember the question

I also put b for the j/(j+1) for the quantitative comp.

Pygo, but did they say that j = k ??

Slope problem?

Well Critical Reading was definitely harder than it usually is IMO. Math was pretty easy.

VERBAL
What did you guys get for the ANECOTE problems. I forgot the definition :) during the test. There was that one thing about astronomy I think that had to do w/ anecdotes and another one that asked whether it was the conception that was being presented in the whole skylark thing or it was an anecdotally done ( I put the one that WASNT anecdote on all of them)

-I chose mouth:harbor for that Portal one
-I also chose the sature:liquid one for the imbue
-also put honor:accolade thing
-put bungler

MATH:
-got 7 lines for circle
-125 for odd number thing
5/64 or 34 or something for last one
-1/2 for that one problem
-e> all the other stuff
??What did you guys put for the 130th term problem?? I put 9.??
