some answer was 280. can someone write that prolem was bc its been bugging me.

How are curves determined anyway? Is it based on how people do on the test or is it set beforehand?

watsupdoc...the answer was 18

ok... the triangle problem was 7 8 and 9, right? for the sides?

wutsupdoc, i'm pretty sure that wasn't experimental. i got 12 or something like that

lion123, i got 8 for that one if it was the one with (2,b) on grid-ins

The microscope question's answer was 18, I think, and I'm pretty sure that section was not experimental.

Okay... so if each student gets a microscope, then there are 6 students without a microscope. If the number of microscope's is doubled, then there are 6 microscopes without a student. 12 microscopes x 2= 24, 12+6= 18 students, 24-6= 18 students.

LION123, yes I got 40/3. Yay.

Some weirdos are saying 8 though. They could be referencing a different question though. hmm

yes...microscopes that was it-- i got 18 also thanks alot

yes triangle problem was 7,8, and 9

yes! i thought my answer was way off....it was the one like (0,10) (10,b) not exactly like that but similar

is it possible that the math curve for a test can be 800,800,...

is it likely for this test?

did anyone else remember 40/3 or 13.3333

Interview on Slavery NOT experimental cause I had 4 math, 3 verbal and I had that passage

Slope One is 8, not 40/3

Microscope one was 18 students and 12 micropes, double to get 24 micros meaning the answer was 18

i remember that question, although i had to do it really quickly cuz i was running out of time...

it was like...lines with equal slopes go through the pts (10,0), (0,10), and (2,b), what was b. And it was a grid-in

how was the slope one 8?

collegefreak, it is very likely. It was a medium difficulty test meaning medium difficulty scale = 800, 800, 780, 760, 740, 730, 710 etc.

collegefreak, i predict the curve will be 800 800 790 770... but who knows.

they don't call it a curve, they call it "centering"... the sat is centered before the test has been taken.

In addition, the slope was I believe

b-10 b-0
---- = -----
10-2 10-8

8b=2b-80
10b=80
b= 8, not 40/3

was this math harder than the october math?

Slope question was 8. (10,0) (0, 10), the slope is -1, so the answer would be (8,2).

I don't remember another slope question or 40/3 as an answer.
