Official US December SAT I Thread

What section was your experimental math man??!

I'm beginning to get worried. There are already about 8 or so verbal questions that I either got wrong or omitted that are so OBVIOUS, but I guess I just wasn't thinking straight while taking the test.

How many questions would I be able to get wrong/omit and still make 700 flat on verbal?

How many could I get wrong/omit to get at least 600 on math?

For some reason I don't remember the women's rights section...

that's because that was an experimental section...don't worry i didn't have that either

does anybody remember the question where the answer was 280? And what section was it in?

What about the 225 one? (the three digit number one)

5x5x5=125

the 280 one is about averages. its back in the earlier posts.

Oh. Thx. But I was just mainly asking about them so I could find the sections they were in to see how much would be subtracted if they were wrong... I guess I'll look thru the previous posts

the 280 one was multiple choice, i think

and i believe the 5x5x5=125 one was free response

PLACATE one was NOT EXPERIMENTAL

vegetable: about 12-14-15 wrong on the math would give you a 600. depends on the section you missed it in

er nevermind. the range is 14-18 depending on the section you missed it in

And I'm guessing 9 wrong and one or two omits would give you 700 verbal.

Well would you say this verbal was hard or easy? I thought the analogies were easy, but some of the reading ones were pretty opinionated.. prbly overall kinda hard

it was quite difficult, but the analogies were considerably easy.

I think I missed about nine or so, hoping for a 700 in verbal. I should break 700 easily knowing i have only 3 or 4 wrong.

I missed two analogies (argh... shouldn't have changed my answers!) and one sentence completion... critical reading is my forte though, but I probably missed quite a few for that section.

here's one:

3 subtracted from sq.root of x = 8
what's x?

121 random typing because 121 is too short for a message to be posted

was the section with the question
that had two numbers and asked about which was prime? like the answer choices were 41, 43 and 61 and 63.. something like that
i forgot the question but do you guys remember that one?

was it experiemental?!? i'm worried

It wasn't experimental (95% sure) and the answer was 61, 63.

It asked for the two numbers that disprove the statement: If a 2 is added to a 2-digit prime number, then the new number is also prime. (more or less)

41, 43 are both prime so that doesn't dirspove the statement, but 61 is prime and 63 is NOT, so it does disprove.

I don't believe that was experimental. I had that on there as well as a dual short passage verbal that everyone says was experimental.

What would be my score if I omitted 23 questions on verbal and answered 2 questions wrong on math? I got 620v and 700m last time.. Should I cancel my score?
