what the the story with the eagle and bird convey? An way America is or something?

What did the "beam of light represent" in the AI passage represent? I put that it represented the conception of the human mind or something like that.

hey so was the africa lady one experimental? (please say yes)

yeh, it was the conception of the human mind, being narrow minded, and only thinking in one direction.

Beam of Light was human perception...I remember that from Dr. Zhivago :)

thedude, yes conception of human mind

The bird/eagle metaphor question... I remember C and D were very similar, one was the answer. And I honestly can't remember which I put. :

what the the story with the eagle and bird convey? It was the education passage

Some of the answers I remember for the eagle passage were that the one paragraph represented the authors conception of America that the head start was a misguided ideal and that trying to get a head start would likely a create rigid conception of oneself

Oxi, I put something along the lines of "it doesn't matter what social group you are in"

africaaa ladddyyyy.... experimental?

ack, it was either her conception of the country..or just comparing americans to the migration of birds it seemed.

thedude-that's what I had
btw what do you usually get on ur verbal practice tests?

Anyone remember the "first impression" in the Interview Slavery passage?

Can we try to get the answers up to the critical reading? I thought that was wicked tough... :(

Also, could somebody explain the admonish:reproof, honor:accolade one. What was the link between them. I put honor:accolade for what its worth...

This test makes me feel sick :(

Finally, what were the other choices for bungler, inept? I think I may have skipped it to go back and never went back!

Jensull11, Out of Africa one was NOT experimental.

i put the one about perceptions... not conception -- is this the same thing?

yes ,the passage where It compared the high eagles nest to the other bird that lived 20ft underground in conjunction with the transience of life definitely stressed that it does not matter what social group you are in.

For the "first impression" I had "Misguided Idea" (Forever21)

conception.... how could it be migrationof birds?

the more we discuss this the stupider i feel. >_> my last shot, too.
