Official US History Post Test

Overall:

MC was hard and unlike the 1996, 2001, and 2006 tests.
FRQs were EXTREMELY easy (3 + 5)
DBQ was easy but not as easy as FRQs, I thought.

What did you guys think? and is anyone else taking SAT II US History Tomorrow? What to expect?

I thought the MC was easy, the DBQ and FRQs, I’m not so sure about.

I’m going to try and take the Subject test tomorrow as a standby tester, hopefully I will get a seat.

what FRQs did you write? also im worried i didnt have enough outside info for DBQ. how long were your FRQs in length?

I wrote 2 and 5. I am also worried that my DBQ does not have enough outside information.

I wrote 3 pages for the DBQ, 2 for the FRQ(5) and 1 for the (2)FRQ.

I did 2 and 5. Tons of others I talked to also did 2 and 5. A few did 3 instead of 2.

All of mine were around 2 + 1/3 page. I write somewhat small though, but my teacher has frequently said AP readers really don’t like having to read long essays and only actually examine the introduction thoroughly, then skim the rest.

MC was a mix (overall it was fine and I could at least narrow down most of the questions I wasn’t 100% sure about, but there were a few I had absolutely NO idea how to answer) and the essays were pretty easy (I picked 3 and 5 as well). The DBQ honestly couldn’t have been better for me…when I read the prompt an angel choir started playing in my head.

And I’m taking the SAT II tomorrow as well. A friend of mine got a 3 on the AP test, took the SAT II several months later without prep, and still got a 750, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign.
