@Katie thanks for your kind words. I do intend to stay at sc as long as I can. The thing is I am at Davis and I have been the most unhappiest I have been in my life. I cry because I really hate it here. That being said I want to go to SC basically for the lifestyle. I’m not involved in anything bc I want to be involved with stuff at SC. And it’s my dream school. And life is over. I want to make my parents and myself proud. Plus my dad went there. So yeah basically I have to get in. And I hope so too.

@iloveasianguys I get the family connection piece. Still I think the key to the whole thing (life) is taking what we’ve got and digging in and making it work. I don’t at all disregard how you feel but I just know that you will have so much in your life to be proud of and your parents too. May I even recommend joining 1 or 2 fun things at Davis so your next few months are liveable. Davis is a very reputable school. I really, really hope you get in. Me too!

@katie Yes, I see what you mean. Well, I know that getting into USC will be probably a big accomplishment. I really appreciate you giving your opinion; no one understands me here and how much I want to go to USC. Well, yeah I have considered but 1) I don’t want to pay lol and 2) most of the events are at night and I’m not allowed to go out at night o.O so yeah. Yes, but the lifestyle is just not for me. I’m from LA and I miss it a lot. Thanks, me too. I’m assuming you’re applying too? What year are you? This is my third time applying -_-, 2 if you don’t count high school.

@iloveasianguys
Don’t lose hope yet! I got rejected by Pepperdine but got into a much higher ranked school where I am now. It’s pretty hard to get in there if your not affiliated with their religious denomination, from what I’ve heard. Hope USC works out for you!

@endphase thanks so much. but, yeah like I said I’m a realistic and I’m pretty realistic that my chances are like o.o Oo that’s good! But I am part of their religious affiliation. Me too~

@iloveasianguys woa when did you get your decision from pepperdine ? I’m still waiting for mine …

I just checked my Pepperdine Wavenet I GOT IN ! But I didn’t get an email though … that’s weird … that means I’m still in right ? Now all I have to wait for is Emory I believe April 26th, Boston College I think somewhere near there, and Finally the school I WANT to attend USC … why does USC take so long ? … Is it June yet ? GLUCK TO ALL OF YOU GUYS !! FIGHTING !

Hey guys, did everybody have to turn in a copy of their parents tax return for “verification”. I had to do the parent tax information form just like everybody. But then recently also did a verification… My mom seems to think this could be a good sign. Lol just wondering if you guys have done the same?

@tomred do you mean sending in a copy of the completed tax return? If so then yeah I think that’s just standard for all Financial aid applicants.

Yeah worded “verification” lol. Only reason I’m asking is because most schools usually don’t ask for that if you’re not accepted. On the instructions on USConnect it said “you have been selected to provide a complete and signed copy…”.

Should I be worried if they haven’t asked for any tax returns…
The only thing I’ve done is filled out the tax information form online…

I was asked for my tax returns awhile ago, well before anyone was looking at my application. I am not sure it means much.

I got my second acceptance letter - this one from La Verne (already got one from CSU Fullerton). I am hoping that USC might let me know before June. Shrug.

@RandomNewGuy congrats! I’m also 2for2. Let’s just hope that we both were so impressive our apps were put at the top of the pile lol.

hey guys, i noticed i made a mistake in my common app and want to let admissions at usc know of it, but i can’t find an e-mail address. does anyone know where i can send an e-mail?

@Yoshi45 Yea it’s funny how they don’t have their email up … for admissions the email is Admitusc@usc.edu - Remember to add your student ID … what kind of mistake is it that you are NOW sending an email ?

@iloveasianguys

When you applied as a freshman were you offered the Trojan transfer plan? I am also a legacy, and I’m really regretting not applying as a freshman. At the time I couldn’t see my self flying back and forth from NY to CA.

@Transfer2OI3
Thanks, I used their website messaging system instead but I’ll hold on to that address. Is it a little late to send an e-mail about a mistake?? I just recently noticed that on my secondary school info under the Education section, that I put I was in high school for 11 years. What I meant was that I’ve been in that school since grade 2 to 12, so I just wanted admissions to know the correct dates

Can’t wait for June…!

Hey guys,
Quick questions:
Do letters of rec show up on the admission documents page?
I sent mine in early February and idk if they received them or if they got put into the system yet.

@kiim07 They should be on the Received Documents List. If they are not you should call USC Admissions office and tell them your situation, they should be able to find it and tell you that they’ll add it. I know how you feel.

I really wish this decision from USC wouldnt take so long. The anticipation is killing me.
