i just wanna know if our acceptances our coming out all at once or in waves…

One would think since apparently some people already have a SGR, that it must be waves…

I haven’t receive any info. including SGR. Should i be worry?

Gracias.

can somebody please answer this question?

Someone had said they got a “SGR”…does that stand for spring grade request? how does that make sense seeing as spring grades don’t come out for another month or two?

I got an e-mail asking for my updated winter-quarter grades, but i don’t understand people saying they got a SGR

Pls can someone let me know whats up w/ that?
Thx

It doesn’t really matter when you get the SGR. If they have reviewed your application already and feel the need to see Spring grades, they will inform you to send the grades once the school year is over. And then they will make a decision.

Has anyone received their financial aid award yet?

It does mean something different, as some people might not receive one till June 3rd… And to answer the question above… The spring grade request now would most likely have to be for people on the semester system not quarter system. I’m current on a semester system and only have 3 more weeks of school left.

@tomred-- ok that makes some sense… it is different for semester and quarter…
so maybe the fact that i just got a winter quarter grade request (which ended 2 weeks ago), it is similar to a spring grade request? lol im a little confused. because yea, i just sent them my winter grades, because they only got to see my fall grades when i applied

some people recieve admission without ever getting sgr’s its not the end of the world. they have 8,000+ apps to go through n they didnt start all that long ago.

Haha if you step back for a moment and read this thread it’s really quite silly. Decisions will come soon people!

haha @keignat people are freaking out

i agree with JR2013 I highly doubt that USC will ask for my spring grades … and many others that finished all the pre reqs, most of the GE’s and have stellar GPA’s. Just like Judithkp

Does anyone know when financial aid awards will be handed out?

After acceptances, obviously…

@Transfer2OI3 what would you consider the threshold to be for a “stellar” GPA?

Is it too late to update my application? I forgot to mention a lot of extracurricular activities as well as the fact I was a recipient for a scholarship I applied for a few months ago. Thought I included all of this info, however, I did not for my USC application some how. Is it too late to email someone to update my application and does it even matter?

@EndPhase I don’t think it’s ever too late, better submitting them than not.

@dm1993 I think a 3.83 + is fairly good, since it is considered A average plus its above the average which is what 3.6/3.7 ? Judithkp had a 3.92 or something, I believe that’s a stellar gpa, and the fact that she finished all the pre reqs and most her GE is a plus, which is why I believe she didn’t require a SGR

@Transfer2OI3 ok… i can agree with you on that

For those are you who had SGR, how many units have you completed prior and how many are you taking?
