I haven't received anything, but Explore USC works for me. Does this mean...? For sure?

you're in

unless there's a wierd bug.

but i think you're in if exploreusc works

Maybe you're up for a scholarship, like Dean's?

Are Dean's Scholars supposed to go to the Explore USC stuff in April?

I thought once you were accepted, everyone could get onto explore usc... ?

Explore USC is "turned on" once you've been admitted for everyone, it's not just a scholarship site. There will be an Explore USC registration available for day in April for all new admits and Explore USC is the .place for everyone to register

i thought so... I still can't log on... :( But I guess that's because they only gave my application to my department on friday. :(

Ooh you're right. Now that I think about it, they offer Explore USC in April for non-scholarship applicants, so it might work for those that get in just now.

Good luck everyone! :)

Shirobot: so you can get into Explore and set a date? can you post exactly what you see? thanks. Hope it means you're in :-)

Well, when I first did it, it asked me to enter my cell phone number (maybe I just forgot to enter it on a previous application). After doing that, this came up...

Welcome (my name)

Congratulations on your admission to USC! We are delighted that you have an interest in visiting campus. The following sessions are still available:

Explore USC #2 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 06, 2006
Explore USC #3 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Monday, April 10, 2006
Explore USC #4 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Monday, April 17, 2006
Explore USC #5 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2006
Explore USC #6 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Monday, April 24, 2006

Actually, I was so excited when it worked that I didn't read that first sentence before I posted. :D

Wow Shirobot!! I think you must be in and the mail hasn't caught up with you yet. I still get the "doesn't match" message. However, are you still using the same ID # as your original??? In the other thread, it says you get a new one once accepted which is why our old ones don't work. Hmmmmmmmmm.....interesting, huh? Maybe there's a window of time where you're IN, so your old ID works until it gets cancelled by the newly issued ID? And you found that window??

You don't get a new ID # when you get accepted. I didn't, anyway. I just used my old one and it worked for me.

AUGH ExploreUSC doesnt work for me.
Its time to start preparing for rejection.

don't stress...
i'm the only person from my school who has heard (and i received Dean's), and i'm POSITIVE more of my classmates will be accepted. so don't freak out, i'm sure you'll hear good news soon.

What is the explore USC URL???!?!?!?! I can't find it on their site, I 've been to it before, I really need to login and check..Someone post please...

You mean http://www.usc.edu/exploreusc/ ?

I got a different ID number when I was accepted. Seems like USC is getting unorganized.

Ugh. Now I know I'm getting rejected. I called Admissions and all they said was "you should hear something by the first week of April". I'm so bummed. But atleast I won't waste time running to the mailbox anymore.

I was at the Explore USC yesterday, and the gentlemen in charge of Admissions advised the entire audience of parents/students to tell their friends (if the question arises) that there will definitely be more acceptances sent out.

"By the first week of April" does not mean "in the first week of April." They said basically the same thing to me a while ago, and I received my acceptance (not to CNTV, though) today. Don't worry!

NAgony, do you get this message on the Explore USC site ?:
We were unable to find a record matching the applicant ID and date of birth you supplied. If you believe you may have entered this data incorrectly, please try again.

Can you please tell me what you get when you try to enter this website:
