It says ID and last name do not match. So for me, atleast, it's a no go at this point. Do you get something different or the same?

so if i haven't been accepted by now, im rejected right?

^i'm wondering the same thing too. this is really nerve wracking

Some colleges have rejections online. I wish USC did. but since Explore USC worked for Shirobot and he did get his acceptance a few days later, that's the litmus test.

thats the way it was for me, too.

(accepted beginning of february)

how do you check if you haven't received anything yet?

NAgony mine also says last name and id do not match, I was just really worried as I was also unable to setup an interview using my USC id so I thought I had two or they screwed up or something. I e-mailed USC really concerned about the possible mixup on Sunday but have yet to hear anything. The only real reason i was concerned was because I got applicant id and last name do not match and when I tried to setup and interview the same thing happened.

Desi - have you already been accepted? if so, Explore should work for you. If not, it will not work (either site). What interview are you trying to set up?

Woah. Desi, I would call the admissions office immediately. Don't wait for the email.

definitely call- i had two ids- one on the barcodes and then one on every other piece of mail i received from them and then i called and they said they had two folders on me- one for my full first name, one for my nickname. I had two id numbers as a result of that. Took them a few days to move my files together but now i just have one- so give them a call tomorrow.

USC does not answer e-mails! lol. I have e-mailed them numerous times, and they don't seem to ever get them. Luckily, I've called (I have a special number for the guy in my area so I don't have to wait an hour), and he solves all my problems. :)

I just recieved an e-mail on a question i had tonight and i sent it to them last Friday, so don't expect to hear back rapidly.

If I were you, I would try contacting admissions officers. There are admissions officers for each region or state, and they are VERY helpful. I emailed my (Norcal) region's admission officer when I had some serious application problems and he was very friendly and quick to respond (I usually got my responses on the same day I emailed him).

Man, my ID and birthday aren't signing me in. Rejected. :(

pumpkinheads79: that doesn't mean you're rejected...
a lot of the decisions still aren't out yet.
i'm the only one from my school who has heard yet, and i was notified the beginning of february (dean's scholarship). so don't lose hope! i saw you on the ucla board... congrats on your acceptance, you must be AMAZING at piano!
