USC Admissions has stated over and over merit scholarship finalists will be notified via USPS.
Application status is working for me now and looks exactly the same.

You whippersnappers…always with the instant gratification…just wait for the mail! Though I must say I don’t like the way they time it on a Friday so that kids outside the LA area have to sweat it out over the weekend. Why not roll things out on a Monday?

Eh, it seems to me that in this case, modern is better. I understand that there’s something charming about walking to your mailbox to look find your letter, but it adds another level of stress and worry and uncertainty to an already stressful process imho, especially when don’t know if that package will be coming at all! Of course, I’m a millennial who is a definite fan of instant gratification 
Checking an online system at one pre-specified time seems easier and more efficient to me, but of course there’s nothing to do but be patient and, like you said, wait for the mail!

I’m new to this thread while I’m waiting for DS’s decision. Do all NMF who are accepted automatically get the Presidential scholarship? We haven’t even gotten the official news that he made NMF but will USC have that info before us because they are National Merit sponsor school?
I got in!! I got an invite for an interview for a presidential scholarship. I am not an NMF. I have a 4.4 GPA 2150 on sat. CR-690 M-720 W-740. Good luck everyone!!

@tranquilparanoia That most likely means you have been considered for the Dean’s scholarship (1/4 tuition). At least, that’s what I gather from the previous comments on this thread.
@Showingupforlife , All NMF admitted to USC will get the NMF Presidential Scholarship and it has nothing to do with the first round of acceptances going out now. HOWEVER, you MUST list USC as your first choice with the NMF scholarship foundation. (As I recall, he can change his first choice selection up until May 1, but don’t quote me on that. Have him go back and check the site for the deadline.)

If you are a NMF and admitted to USC, is it possible to get another USC merit scholarship to cover the full tuition?
Does it say on the portal whether or not your accepted/considered for scholarship? Do I have to wait for a (possible) package? I’m all the way in NC so it won’t arrive for a couple days (if at all)
