@literatimuffin - If you can go, don’t decline the interview. Although you are technically interviewing for the Presidential, it can be bumped up if you interview well.

For those getting packages without scholarship information, my son received one last year and he got the Presidential NMF Scholarship. If you are National Merit and are receiving the package, then this is most likely the scholarship you will receive. If you are not National Merit, you will most likely receive a Dean’s Scholarship.
@mellyjune do you know if this is just for Marshall, or is it for all USC schools?
Anyone receive anything from the San Diego area?
@arjunn11 I No one on CC got into Marshall yet, but there are people who got into Marshall already… So it seems like its all USC schools that are being sent out in batches.
This year is so weird though because it’s not following precedent… I don’t think there’s ever been a year where admission packets have been sent out in batches… Not that I mind it too much because it gives me hope!

I’m from southlake and two of my friends got them but I didn’t. however, they’re both not even in top 10% and I’m top %6 with higher act scores as well as more extracurriculars. so idk.
@mufeforever I also got into Viterbi, same situation. Zero mention of a scholarship or anything financial at all. Kind of confused, don’t know if I should still be hopeful about receiving a scholarship or interview offer!

Hi guys, I got my packet today from USC! I live in the southeast for anyone who might be wondering about geography. But yeah, I’m super excited and I’ve been named as a finalist for one of USC’s full-tuition scholarships! Does this mean I am automatically granted one of the three scholarships (Trustee, Mork, Stamps)? Or does this mean that there will be a weeding out process again from the selected finalists for these scholarships. Can anyone shed some insight into this? Thanks. Fight on!
It’s not all about stats. These scholarships are evenly distributed.
If you have no mention of scholarship you will not get interview offer. You either have NMF or Dean’s, maybe even Director’s (4K) but interview is off the table.
so i just logged in to the portal … when u click on check financial aid status the following page shows 3 sub divisions - Eligibility Checks

it used to show 4 items for the past few days…

The Application tab had info about FAFSA etc. Now that the FAFSA is submitted i think it is gone…dont know
any thoughts?
SAME @balhbalh and then it says something about financial aid being sent out like April 1st or something. I was trying to figure that out too lolol it could just mean they got our FAFSA
@Itsdomoo @balhbalh I didn’t apply for financial aid so I don’t know if this means anything but mine looks exactly the same… Although I don’t know if that’s bad on my part as usually change on portals at this stage is indicative of good news… it means something’s happening. But PLEASE don’t quote me on this… I’m just thinking out loud.
