If things are anything like the last few years, they should be mailed out this Friday; however, nothing is confirmed yet. I would keep checking the USC Admissions Twitter between now and Friday, though.

Guys I am so anxious! Not that I think I have a chance at a scholarship, but just the thought of an update is exciting! Ahhhhh
CaliCash, they always say that. Officially. It could be true this year, but in past years it’s been earlier.
@tashanicole Don’t be swayed by the CC number crunchers! Yeah, USC typically looks for the top 1-2% of test scorers, but they also are holistic and are looking for students who they will invest in and get a huge return on. Numbers aren’t the only indicator of that! Apps are reviewed by adcoms and professors for the scholarships, and professors are less swayed by dazzling test scores. You have a shot!

I’m hoping for the best but expecting a rejection from my dream school considering that the tuition at USC is so expensive and I can’t afford it unless I get some sort of scholarship. Wonder if anybody else is in this situation but regardless, good luck everyone! Looks like it’s about a week if not less until we all know our update
Does anyone know if they send the scholarship acceptance packets and just the regular update letters at the same time?? Or are acceptances sent first and the rest the following week?
The USC admissions twitter has been pretty quiet these past few days so im expecting a tweet tomorrow about it #fingerscrossed!
@tinyone The regular updates are typically sent out later in mid febrary. I totally get you, USC has been my dream dream school for as long as I can remember… Its all thats on my mind even though I try to calm down… haha wishing for the very very best for ALL of us!
So are just the letters for merit scholarships being sent out friday? Or do they also send out the update for everyone else?
Since NMFs don’t have to interview to get their scholarship, do they still get notified early?
@literatimuffin being an NMF has nothing to do with early notification if you didn’t apply by the scholarship deadline. Yes you get half tuition but its ONLY after you get accepted and that half tuition has nothing to do with these other scholarships that lead to early notice to the very lucky select few. So getting notified early has nothing to do with NMFs 
Also since they send it friday , would ACCEPted apocants in southern cal probably get it on Monday?
@couplemoreweeks Theres no way to say for certain that the packets will actually be sent on Friday even though it typically has been… But to answer your question, if the packets are sent on Friday, and most of SoCal recipients will receive them on Saturday looking at CC archives which I have been through wayyyyy too many times haha!
