yeah, i'm just freaking out like mad....

me too! I got a "little envelope" from USC today, and I freaked out, but it was just finaid stuff. :( ughh!

have all the scholarship applicants recieved their letters?

i havent heard yet... i got rejected from scholarship consideration...

i applied to film production...

i am way freaked out....WAYYY

production, too. no word either. torture.

metaphor, I believe all the trustee and presidential candidates have received their letters. Dean's scholarships and others, I'm not sure about.

music too, no word.

i think dean's scholars have all been notified, and the rest of the scholarships will be announced later.

in another words, have all the people who submitted their applications before Dec 11 receive their decisions?

"in another words", I don't think any of us know.

I applied before the scholarship deadline and haven't heard anything back yet.

writing for screen and tv...no word still

in past years, only trustee, presidential and dean's were prior to regular admissions. the remainder of the scholarships are announced much later. as some reassurance, i don't think it means much that people that applied before Dec 10 have not heard. There is not ED or EA for USC. The Dec 10 date was a scholarship consideration deadline. Those not in the running for scholarships... the decisions come out "in waves" or batches. There are some decisions sent out each week until the later part of March, then all of the rejection letters are sent.
So, try to remain positive because it's still early in the month and keep your minds occupied with something else. You will hear soon enough!
By the way, this info came from making a phone call to Admissions... as a mom, I could not sit back and watch all of you suffer!!!

thanks for feeling our pain :)

Wish they would just get it over with and send out the rejections now too =

how do you get onto explore usc if you haven't gotten accepted yet?

you don't.

I know same here they should put out the rejections online!! So if I do get rejected I gaurantee I WILL TRANSFER there is no way i'm giving up on my USC dream!!!

Esp. after my interview *back in october I think not!!

NerdyUSCgurl i am in the exact same position you are. Although i will be severely dissapointed if rejected, USC has been my number one school since i was ten and i wont give up on it. Supposedly its very easy to transfer

USC was my only "reach" school; the only place i want. I'm just above the mid-range. If i can't go there, i will just save my money. Is it really easy to transfer? Do you have information about the transfer acceptance rate? Ahhhhhhhhhh the waiting is killing me. If I'm rejected, I'd rather hear it now.
