does usc have a midyear...i thought they did but can't find it...now i'm just confused...also deans and presidential scholarships get about 100 to 150 recipients each year and they contact you about interviews in february

if i didnt get a letter yet and i live in So Cal, can i assume that i didnt make this scholarship cut?

I had a friend last year who never even interviewed for a scholarship and got her acceptance package in March, yet still got presidential. Don't give up all hope!

anyone in norcal get theirs?

Tree, they do have a mid-year report. I believe they send requests to students to fill it out. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

Scholarships - basically, this is a filtering out of the highest scorers/gpas, correct?

"Scholarships - basically, this is a filtering out of the highest scorers/gpas, correct?"

My cousin in Long Beach just got accepted and I believe he scored around a 1900 on the SAT. I don't think early accceptance = scholarship consideration, because I didn't even submit my application by the Dec 10 deadline.

Treewannabe: Are you in Bellevue?

got a scholarship letter today that they're considering me for the trustees

ElanorRigby, where do u live?

Someone should call and see!

nvm, I see california. I didn't get the scholarship letter today, but maybe tomorrow?

Going: I don't think it's just high stats. I had a 2160, which is high, but I didn't think was high enough. I did have good essays though, which I think they do weight a lot. I would think they'd go through by scores at first, then essays, but you never know. Yea...weird.

i live about 40 mins from USC and since you live quite a distance away, sit tight..it'll come soon....don't give up all hope.

Thanks. I got my acceptance, but just want to make sure I get the scholarship interview.
