Mmm I am in northern California and there are some top people at my school with way better stats than me who have not yet received notifications yet from this school. I would imagine Monday or Tuesday they will roll them out.

I am confused as to the timeline to acceptances in this school. I am still to hear back from them and it seems that other people are getting accepted on here. I am not sure if i should take this as a bad sign. This week is when most of the admission decisions come out for other universities. Is this the case for USF?

ACCEPTED!
3.1/3.2 GPA
1810 SAT
great ec’s & community service
varsity track
2 internships
not sure if i am going to go but its deff a top choice, its a great school! Good luck to everyone. & i believe that they randomly send them out, no real order so don’t loose hope.

Congrats! Thanks for letting us know it eventually came.

Accepted under early action a few months ago, but for the sake of the thread.

GPA: 3.4

Too many EC’s (varsity sports, band, jazz band, winter drum line, mock trial, yearbook, ect.)
Solid essay.

I will most likely attend. Just waiting on a revised financial aid award.

I was waitlisted. Does anyone know when they let waitlisted people know if they got a place or not ?

… Is anyone else still waiting for an admission decision or know if they’re saving all the rejections for the last few days? I sent my application a week before regular decisions were due and people who applied after me already got in a month ago. I can’t believe the wait could be so outstanding!

GPA: 2.9
SAT: 1880
E. C.s: About 4 clubs, 1 sport, and community service

meems, you’re right. I should not be this outstanding. You should call the admissions office, or contact your Adrep/counselor on Monday.

Accepted! So excited!

Didn’t apply for financial aid.
I’ve yet to visit the school but the more I look into it the more I’m starting to think it could be a top choice.

I was accepted, but am choosing not to attend, so truly best of luck to those who were waitlisted. There’s at least 1 spot for ya.

Email acceptance today also -did anyone hear about merit scholarship via email? Or is that in the actual letter?

I got a merit scholarship through the formal letter.

Yep also just got merit via letter yay!

accepted! 29 ACT/12 essay, URM, essay about coming out

Deffered to regular admission. Was really surprised by this because I have a 3.9 UW GPA, a 3.8 CC GPA, 1790 SAT score.

Then I realized it was probably because they didn’t receive all my materials. On my online status there was no received date for my transcript or letter of rec. The letter of rec should have gone through commonapp, and my school claims they sent my transcript, so I sent an email to USF today explaining that. This sucks because USF was my top choice :

Don’t worry, I was deferred because they did not receive my transcript and letter of recommendation either and USF was my top choice as well. My intended major was nursing. I’m a captain of a varsity sport and am part of five different choirs. I have a GPA of 3.4 and SAT score of 1570, I’m sure you’ll get in!
