It makes me feel better that I’m not the only one that this happened to. I don’t understand why they didn’t receive my materials though. I emailed them earlier this month asking if all my materials had been received and they simply told me that they probably did but they were sorting all the papers out due to the large number of applications received so it wouldn’t update online for a little while. What I’m wondering now is if I should re-send my transcript since they still don’t have it.

Hi guys,
Any transfer applicants for nursing Fall 2015 get their admit yet?
has anyone else gotten in EA/ED yet?? I got in early action a couple of weeks ago with:
Gender: Female
Location: Massachusetts
Major: History (planning to try to switch to English and double major in English and history, but that’s not relevant)
GPA: 3.52 UW
ACT: 31
Transcript/courseload: Mostly honors with 6 APs (3 junior year and 3 senior year)
Transcript breakdown: I had mixed scores freshman year, strong grades sophomore year, relatively weak grades junior year and strong grades senior year
Extracurriculars: No athletics, but other than that very strong, at least one definite leadership position (Model UN secretary)
Essay: I wrote about theatre and how the auditorium at my high school is a place where I am content because it’s a place where I bonded with so many people who I basically consider family now
I applied to USF primarily because it’s in an area that I am excited to explore in my adult life (San Francisco), it has strong and interesting programs, and it seems like a good environment. I applied to ten other schools (UMass Amherst, Smith College, Hamilton College, Vassar College, Boston College, Boston University, University of Toronto, McGill University, Brown University, and the University of Pennsylvania). I haven’t heard back from Sorry that’s a super long and kind of snotty list, don’t know if that’s helpful or not. Good luck to everyone else who applied
when will we hear back from USF if we are transfer applicants?
Hi nleon, I have the same question. Its been 6 weeks now and no reply from USF
Yea its making me nervous, the admissions office emailed last week saying they have received my documents and that the decision was made, but I still don’t know and today I got another email from them saying to schedule a visit…so IDK
Wow ok if they have asked you to schedule a visit you must have got in :). Stay positive.
Nleon,
Do you mind me asking from where are you transferring from ?
I’m transferring from San Jose City College, in Califonia. I’m trying to stay positive and I’m hoping I got in /:
Oh great I am transferring from Foothill College. Are you a nursing applicant too? . All the best with your application.
