[] Essays: I tried to write the Common App one so that it couldn't possibly be about anyone else. I really liked my favorite word essay and honestly think it was my best college essay, period. It was actually one of the few essays I didn't dread writing.

[/ul]Other Factors: I've attended VAMUN for the past for years, which is run by UVA's International Relations Organization, so I possibly got brownie points for that. Also, I'll be graduating with 6 language credits (Spanish 1-4 and French 1-2). Oh, and I have no idea if this affects anything at all, but I turned in my app and supplement super early--as in the last week of October early.

General Comments/Congratulations/etc: I'm definitely excited about this! Congrats to everyone who's gotten in, and good luck to those waitlisted and/or rejected. I'm willing to bet you'll be getting into/have already gotten into other amazing schools.
