So for GAA, do you not have to have a 3.4 when you apply? Just when you send them your final transcript?

rawrgasm - Think positive thoughts! We’re almost there! 6 (or maybe 4) more days!

Well one week left and Im just gonna say that I am losing crazy amounts of sleep over the decision process. I wasnt super hopeful when I applied, but I did anyway for even the slightest chance of being accepted. Anyway I am too OOS applying to McIntire as a junior. Chances are slim… but crazier things have happened. Trying to stay positive… thank goodness for makeup to cover these dark circles =O

I dont have the strongest CC GPA at a 3.65 but I have a decent amount of ec’s and a 45 hour work load per week. Totally wish I were already in-state. This pressure is killing me!

@sephyre I’m not exactly sure because on the agreement it does not specifically state that you must have a 3.4. at the time of application but I guess it is implied that you must have a 3.4 by the time you receive your degree

@gskinner: I’m glad to hear that there’s another person who put in an OOS McIntire application. I’m in the same boat, would kill to be instate right now. Where are you from?

Congrats rawrgasm! Let’s hope for more good news at the end of the week :)

UCLA is huge! You’ll definitely get into UVA! Congratulations rawrgasm!

Gskinner, I’m also applying to McIntire and I can’t tell you how much sleep I’m losing… McIntire or bust!

Congrats on UCLA rawr!

I am another McIntire OOS applicant, not expecting much really.

Knights09, I didn’t know you were for McIntire! Good luck, buddy!

Do you guys think UVA admissions uses FB to make decisions? Just having fun speculating here… Haha

It sounds like they certainly don’t after decisions are made. One rejected first year pointed out that a lot of new admits have been discussing underage drinking, etc. on the UVA Class of 2015 page when looking for roommates, etc.

On a different note, I just spent several minutes going through old admissions release dates for transfers. Last year they came out the Friday before May 1 (still April 30, but I’ll take it!)

Glad to see other people too!!! I’m so nervous. I’m coming from Florida. My local state college, where are you?

I saw the same thing, brishe, but sadly even if there is a change, Transfermer won’t let us know until the day of…

So Friday the 29th it is :)

Only 3 more agonizing days left!

^ I like the way you think. The wait is still going to kill me though…

I really hope decisions are released on Friday!

I got into UCLA too! Congrats… but UVA would still be a nice option

Yeah, I’ve been assuming it will be Friday. You’ve got to figure they try their best to not have staff come in on the weekend to finish up decisions. But the last Friday is a day earlier than last year, so who knows, they may need the extra day or two over the weekend.

Will be seriously bummed if it’s not until Sat or Sunday. I’ve got an all day event that should be seriously fun, and would love to use it as either a celebration or a way to distract from the letdown, rather than spending it anxiously waiting.

I’m going out of town Friday, but I’ve already decided that if I know decisions are going up at five, I’m waiting until after I check to leave. Hopefully it will be a weekend for celebration…

Is anyone else losing their mind yet? All I can do is go from here to Transfermer’s blog to SIS and back again. Why does Sunday (or even Friday) seem so far away??
