I think I am in the same boat as everyone else here unhealthily stalking the UVA blog for any updates, and this thread! I am super nervous i can barely type. AHH! Three more minutes!</p>

<p>*** I got in? I wasn’t even excited to check because I was sure I’d be rejected or at least waitlisted. I’m OOS and nothing spectacular.</p>
<p>I am more confused than ever on where to go now! I was leaning toward UNC but…</p>

<p>^ yeah hopefultransfer, I feel the same way. Do you think UNC will have a problem if I requested a fee waiver for the tuition deposit and now choose not to attend? I’m going to inform them if that’s the choice I make, but I just wonder if I have to ask for a release or anything.</p>
<p>Waitlisted, disappointed of course but I kind of expected it.</p>
<p>Anyway, I’m still optimistic regarding my WL chances. I’m taking 18 credits right now with foreign langauge, core English, and Bio, if I can pull off 3/2 A to B ratio or better and more or less maintain my 3.89 GPA I like my chances.</p>

<p>Question: Do you know if it’s possible to defer admission (I applied for Fall 2011) to Spring 2012? I know this sounds completely ungrateful at the moment, but I’m wondering because a great travel opportunity came up for me in the fall, which I’d love to use, unless it means I can’t go to UVA!</p>
<p>I got into unc as well, but uva is much closer to home so idk what to do! I have yet to hear back from w&m but think id attend uva over there anyways</p>
