<p>Same here. I think Facebook may be acting up though, it did the same thing to a friend of mine who tried to make a page awhile back.</p>
<p>For housing, I have an apartment off grounds. But the Johnson/etc. residences look really cool, and I like the idea of living with both transfers and other upperclassmen. It looks like you can’t really go wrong!</p>
<p>I’m looking at Johnson myself. That little area is pretty looking. My brother is being housed there next year so I want to be close to him. Plus, I really really want a single haha.</p>
<p>Surfwakesnow, I’m pretty sure the group isn’t working because of privacy settings. Check to make sure the group is open!</p>
<p>Haha my bad everyone! I actually created the page on my friends facebook because she forgot to sign off my laptop, so when I noticed this I just deleted. Ill create a new one when I get back to the lib or someone else could make it

<p>Has anyone applied for housing yet? My application won’t come up.</p>
<p>neither will mine, it keeps saying i’m not found in the database…anybody able to get through?</p>
<p>I was able to get through the other day. I paid my deposit as soon as decisions were out though. I had e-mailed them and they said:</p>
<p>“Not all students information is updated in our database yet. Our system is updated on a weekly basis. Please try again within the week.”</p>

<p>Surfwakesnow165, how long did it take you package to arrive after you had paid your deposit? Also, I know this is probably a silly question but do you get your UVA e-mail address through SIS? I was accepted and just paid my deposit but am afraid that I am already falling behind, please help!</p>
<p>Nevermind, I believe I figured it out. Everything hinges on the deposit, of course.</p>
<p>Receiving your package is not dependent on when you submit your deposit.</p>
<p>I could apply for housing on the 11th, I deposited on the 7th.</p>
<p>My parents told me I got mail from the Orientation and New Student Dept. Yay! I’ll be able to see it tomorrow when they come to visit.</p>
<p>^ does UVA give good fin aid for OOS transfer students? (my EFC=0) does UVA look at your hs record if you’re applying as a jr transfer?</p>
<p>They didn’t meet my efc, they met about double that. They met it with about 2/3 grant and 1/3 loans and work study. Overall a very good package!</p>

<p>Besides the acceptance letter, I haven’t received any other mail from UVA. I hope this isn’t unusual. Anyone else in the same boat? I guess I will just have to wait and call Monday.</p>
