I was accepted a couple days ago. I live all the way in Connecticut so I was actually quite surprised I got in. I have never been to Seattle or visited the school, but I have always been interested. Right now I am still waiting to find out if I got into the business program; does anyone know about freshmen entering the program? I've heard it's very selective.
SAT:1920
Currently 2 AP: Calc and Stat

I got in
biology major
3.3 unweighted gpa, 3.6 weighted (its a california thing)
2200 SAT I, 790 US history 740 Literature

My status has been changed to "Reviewed"... But my Unofficial Transcript still says nothing. Is this bad?

Applied on the deadline in January, 3.3ish GPA, 1970SAT, good essay, pretty nice EC's (lead programmer at a non-profit org making children's software for the past 5 years)

I'm shaking so much right now, mwagah.

^

oh boy...from what I've heard, that's a rejection. But wait until the letter comes in to make sure...no one should make assumptions over an unofficial transcription page status :).

It only changed a few minutes ago, and my Unofficial Transcript won't refresh anymore. (It still says "Time prepared: 00:02" despite me refreshing constantly since then. I guess they have some kind of anti-OCD filter in place.) Does it take a little while for that part to change after you've been reviewed?

It says Admitted for Autumn 2005, but that's only because I'm taking a UW in the High School course this year...

since its not giving you any luck, i say just stay away from it for a day or two. wait for the letter in the mail. checking it all the time with nothing changing will drive you crazy.

Aha, apparently I was right about the being delayed a bit thing. As of midnight, March 23rd, I've gained admission to the University of Washington.

Now to ingest some cookies and orange juice to celebrate. I go to college.

oh man, tons of people have been hearing back lately, it seems like they're letting most of the lower 50% know. i still havent heard back :(

same here winktonding..... my app hasn't changed from "advanced to full review" since dec. 30.... :(

whats your stats washingtonian?

Is admission hard for OOS applicants? Will a 3.7uw/4.0w/1200SAT cut it?

I'm in the same position as you washingtonian151 ;-(

trippingbillie; 3.2uw, 3.6w. 740m/650v SAT, solid EC's and decent essay. Plus first gen. immigrant.

Ey Lil_Killer, is that a 1200 SAT on the new scale of 2400? If it is, then that's not so great, but if it's on the old one, then yeah seems pretty decent, with your GPA and all.

is it weird that on my unofficial transcript it has my sat scores from when i took the old sat?

i did better on the old sat than the new one (math & verbal)
