BTW, has any of you guys received the email about the NetID yet?
@Ben576569 I also took the TOEFL exam. It is the only requirement for international students, SAT is optional. I got 97. The website says that that recommended score is some 80’s. Do I have a chance?
@Nimisha99 I think 97 is good enough, my friend last year got in with 102 on TOEFL and 2120 on the old SAT. I think around 100 is good.
@Ben576569 I applied on Dec 1st and haven’t got NetID email. I’ve tried to create one but it says I’m not eligible yet.
@hsclassof17 Idk, it may take a few days more
I applied November 1st and got the email November 8th, but since there were so many applications coming in for those who applied December 1st you might get your email later.
I was able to create my NetID today!
I didn’t get an email, but I made a UW NetID anyway. I like my new email address
@math3matical I didn’t get an email from Admissions either. I just went ahead and did it too. I like mine also.
The NetID advises that the decision will be sent by postal mail. Does anyone know whether this can/will occur before Christmas?
@PCJazz The decision comes out in late March
Thanks. That is what I thought. It’s just that this is the “Official Acceptance Thread”, so I thought maybe some would hear earlier. See you in March.

@Ben576569 Lmao look at your stats you’re are definitely getting in, why did you apply ED?
@gillibeean If you applied for a non-impacted major UW would probably be a safety for you, sucks how Foster and CS at UW have such low admit rates, lol. GL!
@Sterny16 Um…UW doesn’t have an ED, it’s all the same…and I applied ED to WUSTL, just got deferred
@Ben576569 Sorry to hear that, but I am sure you will end up somewhere you can thrive. Keep your head and hopes up!
bump so this post doesnt get lost in the depths
Don’t worry, it’ll get crowded here in March…
@Ben576569 I know UW doesn’t have ED I thought you were talking about GWU
